What I absolutely love about my job are the people I meet every day, serving my patients as their dentist and as their friend. Dentistry is so personal because it requires my patient to have a great deal of trust and to take a leap of faith that I will do my best. I never imagined that dentistry could enable me to change people’s lives, not just their oral health. The biggest honor is when people ask me to take care of someone special—like a significant other, a friend, or a family member. Check out our case of the month. A patient referred a family member to me. This woman has always been a beautiful person, but had an insecurity facing the world with her old smile. She just needed the confidence to show everyone how great she really is, and that’s where I came in. I took care of her smile and we both changed her life together. We became friends as she told me more about her lack of self-confidence. She cried when she saw her new smile, but that was okay—tears of joy are liberating! I love my job! Thank you for your trust. It’s the primary reason why I get pumped to go to work every day. Best wishes,
