Our Technology

· Hospital and OSHA sterilization standards

· Digital and panoramic x-rays

Because we are concerned about your safety, we use digital x-rays in our office. Digital x-rays reduce radiation by up to 90%, providing safer and quicker imaging. Your digital x-rays are instantly viewed on the computer screen, eliminating the need to wait for film processing.

· Ultrasonic cleanings

· Comfortable European ergonomic treatment chairs

· Ipod/Cable television in each treatment room

· High technology filtered water system

· Fiber optic technology

Our office has just integrated new fiber optic technology! This innovative LED (light-emitting diodes) device detects cavities at their earliest stage. It offers better detection and faster diagnosis while being minimally invasive! The new D-Carie device is 92% more sensitive in detecting cavities compared to 49% using xrays and visual evaluation. The D-Carie is perfect for children, pregnant women, or other patients who prefer not to take xrays for health or personal convictions.

Case Study of the Month

Extreme Angulation

This patient's central right tooth had an extreme angulation which did not allow her to close her lips completely. Her profile was improved by two new porcelain teeth and now she is able to close her lips and smile with more confidence! In just two office visits, we were able to help restore not only her smile but also her self-confidence.

I’ve found that many of my patients are not brushing long enough! This toothbrush is an easy way to ensure that there is adequate attention given to each section of the mouth. It has a timer on it and also uses the latest technology for deep yet gentle removal of oral bacteria. I love that it has a softer setting for my patients who need to be cautious of their gum recession. You can conveniently purchase this toothbrush online from the following websites: Amazon, JR.com, Target

Even before its debut on “The Apprentice,” SmartMouth has always been a great way to control embarrassing breath odors. I think that this mouthwash in conjunction with good oral hygiene habits at home will eliminate most bad breath cases.

If you are still battling cavities and you are over 18 years old, I strongly recommend fluoride treatment at home. This gel is not available over-the-counter and can only be given as a prescription. Fluoride works by strengthening the outer enamel layer of the teeth, making it more difficult for acids and bacteria to penetrate through and begin the decay process.

If you are suffering from gum disease, this prescription rinse helps to reduce inflammation and bleeding. This rinse is highly effective in conjunction with initial gum therapy.
